Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a web-based system that visualizes discovered traces from event logs and expresses event sequences as animations on a directed graph. After inputting the event log in XES format into the system, it analyzes and converts the data into arrays containing the event’s information and timestamp following the order of traces. Subsequently, the system converts the array of desired traces into a directed graph format and visualizes it using the Cytoscape library. We also developed a function that supports saving the route of a specific trace in the graph and using it to animate the behavior of activities and performers in the event logs. Using this program, we can analyze the XES log in the web environment, thereby enabling access the system from anywhere and gaining a better understanding of the business processes within enterprise information systems through XES event logs.
